Portable Paper Scale CI-203 is a highly portable laser scanner suitable for fast and non-destructive measurement of paper area anywhere. Measurements can be made easily by moving the scanner across the sheet to obtain seven different parameters: area, width, length, perimeter, form factor, aspect ratio, and number of degrees of validity.
Researchers can use CI-203 to make non-destructive measurements on the leaves of live plants, making it possible to collect information about a leaf or plant over the course of its life. Leaf shape diagrams are provided after the scan is complete, providing verification of measurement accuracy even on the most complex sheet shapes. Internal GPS tags add location to any data point, and a removable Wi-Fi SD card provides an easy and fast way to download data to your computer. For rapid measurement of insulated sheets, the CI-203CA conveyor connection is an ideal complement to the CI-203.
